March was a very busy month for everyone, so there was no meeting! Our next meeting is April 5th. We are dying Easter eggs with the residents at Aspen Ridge at 3pm. We'll plan more meetings etc at this time. I think this is also the month we are supposed to weave baskets with Donna. :) Sounds like fun!

CLUB T-SHIRTS-LAST CHANCE!  IF YOU WANT OUR LOGO ON YOUR NAVY BLUE 4H SHIRT, YOU NEED TO BRING IT TO THIS MEETING WITH $3.00....REMEMBER, THIS IS LAST CHANCE!  IF YOU WANT TO PURCHASE A SHIRT THE COST IS $9.00 BRING PAYMENT IN AN ENVELOPE WITH SHIRT SIZE. _Hello everyone! My hope is that you all had a beautiful Christmas, ours was awsome!  Briana's blue eyed Polish had 5 Christmas Eve babies!  Our club members who took time to attend the Christmas celebration at Aspen Village Retirement Village made the newpaper in December as we spread Christmas cheer while delivering gifts to the residents and shared our love of our furry friends!  I enjoyed our  Christmas party at the community meal and the joy we brought to about 15 children with the gifts we purchased for them! Now that a new year is arriving I am getting excited for all the plans and ideas we have to put in to motion.  First on our calander is Aspen Ridge retirement village, Christy Payne, the director, has reserved the first saturday of EVERY month for us to come share our rabbits with the residents and has also offered a private dinning room for us to hold our meetings.  This is a great opportunity for our club to make a difference in the lives of many, and beneficial for our meetings now that our club has grown in size!  We now have 14 members and counting!  Which reminds me, for those of you who have not paid your registration fee of $11.00, YOU MUST pay this to MSUE Imediately!  If you have any questions,please contact me a.s.a.p.    So our first meeting of the year will be Saturday January 7th at 10:30 am at Aspen Ridge Retirement Village.  You can bring a rabbit or guinea pig  with you to show to the residents.  This meeting we will  also plan our calendar for the next few months, so please plan to attend. WELL HELLO HARE RAISERS! 
 
IT WAS GREAT SEEING EVERYONE AND THEIR FAMILIES AT THE 4-H BANQUET!  CONGRADULATIONS TO EVERYONE ON ALL THEIR ACHIEVEMENTS, I AM A PROUD LEADER!  THANK YOU FOR ALL YOUR HARD WORK THIS YEAR, AND I AM SO EXCITED FOR OUR NEW YEAR AND NEW CLUB MEMBERS THAT WILL BE JOINING US! WE HAVE A VERY BUSY FEW MONTHS AHEAD OF US OUR HALLOWEEN PARTY AND WITH FUNDRAISERS AND OUR COMMUNITY SERVICE PROJECT AS WELL AS OUR CHRISTMAS PARTY. 

PLEASE KEEP THESE DATES OPEN TO PARTICIPATE:

OCTOBER 23RD-HALLOWEEN PARTY IN GAYLORD AT THE FIRE STATION ON WISCONSIN.  (I WILL GET ADDRESS FROM CHRISTI) THIS EVENT WILL INCLUDE COSTUMES, POTLUCK DINNER AND GAMES AS WELL AS TRICKS AND TREATS!  OFCOURSE TO HAVE ALL THESE THINGS WE ALL NEED TO BRING SOME STUFF.  IF THERE IS SOMETHING PARTICULAR YOU WOULD LIKE TO BRING, PLEASE EMAIL OR CALL ME. IF YOU HAVE OR KNOW OF SOME GAMES AND WANT TO TA KE CHARGE OF THAT LET ME KNOW AS WELL.  I WOULD LIKE TO BRING PIGS IN A BLANKET AND MAYBE SOME CHIPS...LETS GET A LIST GOING! AT THIS PARTY WE WILL ALSO BE COLLECTING MONEY FROM THOSE PARENTS AND NEW CLUB MEMBERS WHO WOULD LIKE TO PURCHASE A CLUB SHIRT. THEY WILL BE APROXIMATELY $8.00 THE EXISTING MEMBERS WHO WANT TO BRING THEIR SHIRTS TO GET CLUB NAME ON FRONT WILL NEED TO BRING SHIRTS AND $1.25 ANY QUESTIONS, CALL ME PRIOR.

NOVEMBER 6TH-BAKE SALE AT JAY'S FROM 10-4 (I BELIEVE) WE CAN TAKE THIS IN SHIFTS AND TALK MORE ABOUT IT AT THE PARTY.

NOVEMBER 14TH-PARENTS AND TEENS/SERVING AT CULVER'S.....MORE INFO TO COME.

DECEMBER WILL BE OUR COMMUNITY SERVICE PROJECT AND OUR CHRISTMAS PARTY.  I WILL BE WORKING ON THESE THINGS AND WILL POST DETAILS AT A LATER DATE AS WELL.

COME JANUARY WE WILL START OUR MEETINGS ONCE A MONTH AND BEGIN WORKING ON CRAFTS FOR NEXT YEARS FAIR AS WELL AS SOME OTHER FUN THINGS!  SOME THINGS WE WILL BE DOING WILL INCLUDE: BASKET WEAVING, SEWING, PAINTING AND MORE!  i WOULD ALSO LIKE TO VISIT ASPEN RIDGE  RESIDENTS AGAIN AS WELL AS LUCKY JACKS!

 IF YOU HAVE ANY IDEAS PLEASE SHARE THEM WITH ME, MAYBE WE INCORPORATE THEM INTO OUR MEETINGS! I LOOK FOWARD TO SEEING YOU ALL AT THE PARTY!

Congrats on everyone's awards today! This ends my 8 years of 4-H, but marks the beginning of many new members' 4-H careers. :) We talked about a lot of stuff after the banquet today like meeting dates, t-shirts, parties and fundraisers. My mom will be sending out a newsletter soon to remind everyone!

Everyone did very well at the show on Saturday! Congrats on all your ribbons kids. I know you all got some Best of Breed and Best Opposite Sex wins! :)

The weather should start getting colder soon. I see that some of the leaves are already changing! The rabbits will probably love the cooler weather. The county fair went very well. Everyone did an amazing job. My mom sent out a newsletter by email on September 1st. It was about the upcoming White Tails RBA show on the 17th and the Member/Leader banquet in October. I added both of these events to the calendar.
